About Our Organization

Bwindi Community Youth Conservationists Organization (BCYCO) is a community-based organization founded by Dr. Stephen Muhwezi in January 2025. The organization is dedicated to promoting community development, wildlife conservation, and environmental protection around Bwindi and Kisoro District. Through medical outreaches, health education, tree planting, peer education, community awareness, and youth empowerment, BCYCO works to improve livelihoods while conserving the environment. Led by Dr. Stephen Muhwezi and a team of committed health professionals and volunteers, the organization serves communities by promoting health, education, food security, and sustainable development
